Finals are here...
& Winterbreak is on the horizon, kind of crazy it feels like this semester just started. Don't get me wrong I'm glad it's over but I guess it really is true, time flies as you get older. I really think it's going by faster because I'm having so much fun this time around, so my encouragement for you on this post is, "Have fun, and time will pass."
Now I am so excited about the Holiday Season embarking upon us. I just bought my dad's gift and my little brother's gift and I can't wait to see their reactions when they open their gifts! I know everyone probably already knows this but it's meant more to me lately. During Christmas we go around to different stores trying to find the perfect gift for our loved ones. Some even spend hours trying to find out what their loved ones want, and some people think those people are missing the meaning of Christmas. Here's my take on that. When God sent Jesus as like the ultimate gift to save the world, you know He was all like, "I can't wait to give my only Son as a gift to my creation." And you know He thought through His perfect plan that His Son would be a sacrifice for us so we could live eternally with Him and for Him. And that my friends is Christmas. So I say we should go find that perfect gift for our loved ones and special someone. We're not missing the meaning of Christmas if you're trying to find the perfect gift for someone. Christmas gifts to eachother symbolize the gift given to us almost 2005 years ago, so I think we should put some thought into our gifts to eachother. This Christmas I encourage everyone to do just that.- Merry Christmas Ladies and Gents!!!

Whoa buddy...awesome blog!! I totally agree that time does pass by faster the older you get. Crazy, but I guess my parents and grandparents were actually right when they used to tell me that. This semester had flown by but, I wish it would hurry up and be December 14th because that would mean that I am totally done. Seventeen hours behind me and lets pray for good grades in all my classes. AHHH!
Anyways, I like your idea of Christmas and gifts. Intresting and you really got me thinking about it. Finding the perfect gift for others is so important. That is why I have spent so much time thinking about what to get you cause I want it to be perfect and special. I do buy gifts for people and can't wait for them to open them. I do think that is how God looked at it and was so anxious for us to recieve his gift. I never really thought about connecting God's gift with buying gifts for others. But I really like how you did cause it completely makes sense.
I love the holiday season! I like the music, food, family, and most importantly it reminds me of God sending his son just for us! Christmas is so important and I think we should go all out and make it a special time.
So yeah, I loved your blog!! It would make an incredible sermon!!
